NYX Lipsticks!

Of course, an hour after I resolve to go out and get actual primer (this is the time it takes me to tear myself away from the interwebs) it begins to storm horrifically where I live. So now you all will have to suffer through another one of my posts :D!
HOWEVER! This one contains not only swatches (gasp!) but reviews as well (holy shit!). It's almost like half Christmas but in September.

Despite my fiance continually saying I remind him of Steve Buscemi in Billy Madison whenever I wear red lipstick (and thus now I feel like this when I put it on):

I absolutely adore buying and wearing all shades of red lipsticks. Two of my favorites are Nyx's Pure Red and Snow White, which I will swatch and review below.

Face of the Day

One of these days I will actually swatch stuff, but for now I'm going to review stuff I've actually just put on my face.
I decided to do my full face makeup today because 1) I'm excruciatingly bored waiting for the fiance to answer his texts and 2) I've been inspired by this hilarious lady. I just can't stop reading her reviews and posts! And then I was like "huh, I should do my makeup so I can go outside today and actually buy makeup to review/swatch and maybe be as awesome as her" (which won't happen, she's too awesome), and thus my face was done.

Except for all the products I use (which seems like a lot), it doesn't look like I did a lot. I think this is good? Is it good? Not sure, but my mom would say yes. OK pictures and descriptions under here!

Loose to Pressed Eye Shadows + Eyebrow RAGE

If there's one thing I really hate, it's someone fucking up my eyebrows. No, following my instructions isn't hard, and I know exactly what I want. So when this horrific creation happened, I just about lost my shit. I mean, those are not power brows. Those are caterpillars on my goddamn face. RAGE.

SO I came home and decided to indulge myself with a nice Chantecaille clay mask and some of my favorite Nyx lipstick and do my best impression of Ursula from the Little Mermaid. And that is a Dalek towel.

Anyway, I'm going to show you how to press loose eye shadow because this is supposed to be a makeup blog, right?
